The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or a related field, and is fluent in English (French is a plus). Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing ledger entries, posting entries, and preparing reconciliations; assisting in maintaining the general ledger system; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assisting with regulatory reporting; performing variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast; researching accounting issues for compliance with Luxembourg GAAP; assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable; supporting the monthly closing process; and assisting with external audits and internal audits.
