This position manages the hotel's day-to-day accounting function and provides financial leadership to the business, supporting the Cluster Director of Finance with structure and direction for the Finance team. Primary responsibilities include preparation and analysis of financial reports and reconciliations, internal and external reporting, budgeting and forecasting, audits and controls, asset and liability reconciliation, and working capital and cash management. The role requires hotel accounting experience, with operational experience preferred. Qualifications include a full or part-qualified accounting credential or bachelor’s degree; strong Excel skills and familiarity with Opera, PeopleSoft, and Micros are desirable. Key skills include numeracy, written and verbal communication, and knowledge of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will lead and develop the accounting team, ensure robust internal controls, and ensure adherence to Marriott processes and procedures. Additional duties include supporting strategic planning, tax compliance, and timely delivery of financial reports to executives.
