The firm comprises three qualified accountants and two trainee staff and serves a varied client portfolio. The successful candidate will manage assignments through to partner review, engage confidently with clients, and provide day-to-day guidance to trainees, with responsibilities including preparing statutory accounts, leading statutory audits from planning through partner review, and handling income tax and corporation tax compliance. The role also involves general practice work and supervising junior staff, plus direct client engagement and maintaining professional relationships. Essential requirements include a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent), at least five years’ experience in an accountancy practice in Ireland or the UK, at least three years post-qualification, strong experience across statutory accounts, audit, income tax and corporation tax, the ability to manage assignments through to partner review, and strong client-facing communication skills; fluent English; professional, organised and proactive in a busy environment. Preferred attributes include continued professional development, direct client engagement and responsibility, on-site position in Dublin 12, 32 contracted hours per week, permanent four-day working week. Salary €70,000–€80,000 per annum.
