The role covers MEC (Month-End Closing) and YEC (Year-End Closing) activities, reviewing Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) invoices, assisting with manual invoice postings, and identifying errors. You will calculate unrealized foreign exchange gains and losses, prepare manual entries at month-end and year-end, and review accruals and IFRS 16 entries, making necessary adjustments and preparing accruals. You will update policies where changes occur and participate in related processes. In certain cases you will review accounting entries against policies and accruals, support the audit, and assist in preparing financial statements and IFRS schedules. You will provide professional support on fixed asset issues and prepare accounting segmentation documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, has several years of accounting/finance experience, strong knowledge of Hungarian Local GAAP and tax regulations, IFRS familiarity, experience with month-end/year-end close and external audits, SAP or similar ERP systems, advanced Excel, and fluent Hungarian and professional English.
