Planet is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to design and demonstrate complex geospatial solutions that showcase Planet's data and services to NATO customers. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to articulate technical value, respond to tenders and RFPs, and guide engagements from initial demonstrations through deployment. This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Netherlands or Belgium, with travel up to 25% (international). You will build trusted relationships with customers’ technical and management staff, help shape the technical strategy across accounts, and mentor team members. Responsibilities include delivering solution demonstrations, crafting technical responses, coordinating with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development, and communicating customer needs to leadership. Qualifications include 6+ years of technical experience supporting the NATO community, proficiency in English, expertise with GIS and remote sensing in defense (IMINT/ISR), experience with GIS tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, SocetGXP, GDAL, Python, ability to design and present complex systems bridging business and technology, and eligibility for NATO security clearance.
