NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Product Manager with pre-sales responsibilities to lead the product strategy and evolution of the DocDefender platform, an AI-powered automated document redaction solution designed for police forces and public safety organisations. The role reports to the Head of Product Management of the NEC Evidence and Insights product pillar. DocDefender helps teams identify and remove sensitive information from documents before sharing them externally or internally.

This position is home-based but requires travel to NEC offices in Chippenham, London, and Hemel Hempstead, as well as to customer sites when required. The Product Manager will define, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and drive business value, combining customer insight, commercial awareness, and technical understanding to shape product strategy, manage roadmaps, and deliver differentiated enhancements. Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders, the Product Manager ensures products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned to organisational priorities.
