We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (AI and Python) to influence technical direction and lead a high-impact AI engineering team. This hands-on leadership role involves writing production code, driving proof-of-concepts to production deployments, and setting engineering standards. You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to shape architecture, deliver cloud-native, container-first services at enterprise scale, and ensure security, reliability, and performance. You will hire, onboard, and mentor engineers, reinforce a strong engineering culture, and raise the bar for the team. You will stay current with fast-moving AI and cloud technologies and apply them where they add value. The role requires strong Python skills, experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP valued), containerization and Kubernetes, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, security fundamentals, and experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores. This on-site role is based in Ireland.
