MacKay is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to join our transportation-focused engineering team in downtown Chicago. You will serve as a technical resource and mentor for our engineering staff, guiding design challenges, reviewing calculations, and helping engineers evaluate approaches to reach robust, independent solutions. You will lead project deliverables through QA/QC to ensure everything that goes out meets our quality and accuracy standards.

This position is ideal for a senior engineer with direct transportation project experience who enjoys teaching and troubleshooting, measuring success by the strength of the team around them.

This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Chicago office, conveniently located and accessible by public transit. The office features gathering spaces, a workout space, a cafe, a food truck, and lobby events geared toward networking.
