Cosun Beet Company is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Financial Control team in Dinteloord, Netherlands. This is an on-site role with a focus on the planning and control cycle, financial reporting, and the ongoing professionalization of the finance function, initially concentrating on Green Energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Your challenge: We believe finance should be more than reporting. You are curious about automation, data analysis, AI, and digitalization. You will identify ways to streamline processes, make reporting more efficient, and free up time for analysis and strategic advisory. You will challenge existing practices and help the organization move forward. Qualifications:

Prepare monthly reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Support and optimize the planning & control cycle.
Identify risks, deviations and improvement opportunities.
Translate data into relevant management information.
Initiate and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different sites and disciplines.
Contribute to the further digitalization of the finance organization.
Play a key role within Green Energy and sustainability, including reporting, certifications and compliance processes.
HBO or WO level education in finance or a related field.
Experience in finance, e.g., as Financial Controller, Assistant Controller, Business Controller, or similar.
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
Affinity with process improvement and digitalization.
Ability to look across departments and processes.
