AI Automation Engineer

We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-driven automation workflows for our travel platform, powering the journeys of millions of holidaymakers. This permanent, full-time role (36 hours per week) is based in Chiasso with a hybrid working model.

What you’ll do: - Build and scale n8n automation workflows and production-grade automations on our self-hosted n8n Enterprise platform (AWS EKS) - Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows that support multiple business units - Develop custom AI solutions and tools that leverage AI to support key processes - Connect AI tools with our systems; integrate external AI platforms (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) via APIs, low-code platforms like n8n, and custom connectors - Contribute to our knowledge base and governance, including document ingestion pipelines and retrieval quality - Work with natural language processing to analyze conversations, automate emails, and extract insights from customer interactions - Build generative AI solutions for content creation and personalized communications - Maintain and improve systems; monitor performance and retrain models as needed - Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and other developers to ensure AI tools are scalable and reliable
