Rivada Space Networks is seeking a Senior Software Solutions Architect to lead the design, engineering, and technical management of the Digital Twin software for our constellation. The Digital Twin includes end-to-end simulations and virtual models of physical assets, processes, and systems. Responsibilities include defining the Digital Twin strategic vision and ensuring enterprise alignment, developing a multi-year software roadmap, and evaluating in-house versus third-party solutions to avoid vendor lock-in. You will design and specify the software architecture, develop behavioural models and simulations, oversee system integration, and lead data and AI analytics to support massive data management and workflows, including the use of AI frameworks. The role also involves continuous technology evaluation, implementing proofs of concept, and providing technical leadership to development teams, along with cost optimization and budget forecasting. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, at least 10 years of professional experience with 5 years in simulations and digital twin domains, proficiency in Python, C++, C#, Java, strong mathematical modeling and simulation skills, experience with UI design for simulation software, familiarity with Agile or Scrum, excellent communication skills, willingness to travel, and fluency in English.
