Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team within a global technology business. The Senior Revenue Accountant will ensure revenue transactions are recorded accurately, reconciled, and reported in line with Bottomline’s policies. This role will work closely with Billing, Collections, Sales Operations, and FP&A to support timely month-end and quarter-end close processes, maintain strong controls, and contribute to process improvements across the revenue cycle. Key responsibilities include applying core revenue accounting principles to determine proper revenue treatment under ASC 606, owning revenue recognition for assigned product lines, including accurate recording, reconciliation, review, and reporting of revenue and related balance sheet transactions. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting and supporting internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and providing clear documentation for revenue accounting judgments and balances. Additional duties include identifying opportunities to improve close efficiency, reconciliation quality, reporting accuracy, and control effectiveness across revenue accounting.
