About the role
Genesis Global Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join its corporate Accounting & Finance function. This on-site role will own the full spectrum of accounting operations across multiple entities, from day-to-day transactions to executive-level reporting, and serve as a trusted financial partner to HR, operations, and leadership.
Responsibilities
Qualifications: Education and Certifications:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead annual budgeting process with department heads
- Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections
- Manage year-end close with audit coordination across multiple entities
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of corporate tax obligations and monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns
- Act as primary liaison with state auditors, providing organized documentation and clear financial presentation
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support ad-hoc accounting projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with executive leadership
