Genesis Global Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join its corporate Accounting & Finance function. This on-site role will own the full spectrum of accounting operations across multiple entities, from day-to-day transactions to executive-level reporting, and serve as a trusted financial partner to HR, operations, and leadership.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Education and Certifications:

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Lead annual budgeting process with department heads
Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections
Manage year-end close with audit coordination across multiple entities
Ensure accurate, timely filing of corporate tax obligations and monthly/quarterly sales and use tax returns
Act as primary liaison with state auditors, providing organized documentation and clear financial presentation
Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Support ad-hoc accounting projects as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Strong working knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with executive leadership
