Software Engineer to join a highly technical team building core experiences on the Dremio stack. You’ll contribute to delivering an autonomous data platform for analytics and AI. Responsibilities include: contributing to the software development lifecycle from inception through deployment; actively working with open source software (Apache Arrow); participating in code and design reviews to maintain quality; collaborating with program managers, architects, and support teams on feature requests; helping grow the team through recruiting and mentoring; and working with customers and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI. What we’re looking for: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field; fluency in Java, C++, or other modern languages; strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded and asynchronous patterns; experience building scalable distributed systems and deploying microservices; passion for quality, zero-downtime upgrades, availability and uptime. Bonus points for JDBC/ODBC/ADBC, Apache Arrow, SQL, experience with databases and distributed systems, client-side libraries, open-source contributions.
