Restream is a global live-streaming platform used by creators, businesses, and communities to reach audiences across multiple platforms. They are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the product team and help solve complex product challenges, build new user-facing experiences, and strengthen the platform as it scales. You will build and evolve user-facing features, design and implement frontend architecture and UI components, and collaborate with Product and Design to turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences. You will own features from technical design through implementation and release, contribute to code reviews and engineering standards, and work to improve reliability, maintainability, and performance of the frontend. The ideal candidate has strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, deep React experience, experience with frontend state management, and knowledge of modern ECMAScript and browser technologies. Proficiency with CSS preprocessors (LESS or SASS), Node.js, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases is expected, along with experience in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD. A strong emphasis on product quality, UX, and clear communication is essential, and experience with additional programming languages or broader full-stack work is a plus.
