We are seeking a degreed mechanical engineer to join as a Mechanical Project Manager in an on-site role in Newark, Delaware. The ideal candidate will manage project objectives from planning through close-out, lead a multidisciplinary engineering and architectural team, and coordinate with clients, code officials, and contractors to ensure scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations and assessments, conducting HVAC load studies and energy modeling, producing mechanical and plumbing design documents for bidding and construction, supervising junior staff, and ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements. The role involves coordinating design with client specifications and local codes, managing project schedules, budgets, and quality plans, developing project management plans and budgets, supporting client presentations and marketing efforts, and leading and mentoring team members to support professional growth.
