Backend Developer | Java, Spring, Hybris. We are seeking a Backend Developer to join the backend team of an established B2B e-commerce platform built on SAP Commerce (Hybris). The platform serves multiple international markets and combines standard SAP Commerce capabilities with a substantial layer of custom extensions and integrations. The candidate will work on change requests, bug fixes, API development, and system enhancements, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the platform while ensuring stability, quality, and maintainability. The role requires a solid understanding of existing application behavior and close collaboration with Agile teams to deliver business requirements efficiently and reliably. Requirements: 1–2 years of experience as a Backend Java Developer; solid knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming; basic experience with the Spring Framework; understanding of REST API concepts, including HTTP methods and status codes; experience developing and maintaining backend services and integrations; working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows; ability to investigate issues, analyze system behavior, and contribute to troubleshooting; strong English (C1). Nice to have: exposure to SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris); familiarity with e-commerce concepts (catalog management, pricing, checkout); basic knowledge of OAuth2 and Single Sign-On (SSO); Docker experience; experience working in Agile/Scrum.
