The engineer will develop Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tooling; automate provisioning, configuration, and environment setup across IL5 GovCloud; build deployment automation for platform services, shared components, and cloud-native resources; and maintain repeatable, versioned deployment patterns for development, test, staging, and production environments. Responsibilities include integrating security scanning, compliance validation, and guardrails into CI/CD automation; supporting automated patching workflows, configuration baselines, and cloud drift detection; troubleshooting automation failures and pipeline issues; collaborating with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and cloud platform teams; maintaining IaC repositories and documentation; implementing automated logging, monitoring agent deployment, and observability platform integrations; and participating in Change Control Board reviews for automated deployment and configuration changes.
