About the role

Overview: As a Proposal Manager and writer, you will collaborate with regional and business-line teams on priority pursuits, including pre-positioning, responses to requests for qualifications (RFQ) and requests for proposals (RFP), and shortlisting interviews. You will mentor and coach direct reports and other members of the proposal team, and you will report to the Director of Federal Marketing within our National Governments Marketing group.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex, must-win federal pursuits from capture through interview, coordinating across disciplines and geographies.
Provide leadership and direction for proposals, developing schedules, content plans, templates, outlines, compliance matrices, and production; lead writing and editing of executive summaries, past performance, management, and non-technical sections.
Drive Go/No-Go decisions, capture strategies, and positioning; ensure compliance with delegation of authority guidelines.
Facilitate color-team and quality reviews; apply lessons learned to improve future proposals.
Review and support capture and proposal activities for pursuits led by others; participate as a reviewer on color reviews as needed.
Support strategic planning, win strategies, and the integration of process improvements and AI into prepositioning and proposal workflows.
Manage team performance, allocate worklo
