You will lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects within the region’s in-year capital programme, from detailed design to service, ensuring outcomes meet required quality, cost, time, customer service levels and health and safety standards. You will provide leadership and line management for a team of Project Managers, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and developing succession and development plans. You will oversee supplier performance to meet technical and service standards and manage risks and early warnings to minimise impact on delivery. About you: a relevant engineering qualification or extensive experience delivering civil engineering projects and programmes; up-to-date knowledge of CDM and health and safety regulations; knowledge of highways construction and maintenance practices; experience in supplier and contract management; and a track record of delivering high-value capital investment programmes.
