Sensara, a fast-growing health-tech scale-up based in Rotterdam, develops smart technology that helps older adults live independently longer. We are seeking an interim Product Owner to cover maternity leave from October 19 to February 5 (approximately 16 weeks, with a possible extension). You will step into an active product role and own the backlog and roadmap for the Sensara development team from day one. This is a hands-on position where you will make decisions rather than merely manage. In addition to core Product Owner responsibilities, you will take on broader product management tasks: gathering market and user input, prioritizing the roadmap, and translating stakeholders' needs into concrete direction for the team. You will act as the central link between engineering and other teams involved in the product's go-to-market readiness (sales, customer success, operations) to ensure releases land well with future users. Your duties include owning the product backlog and translating strategy into clear, prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria; leading sprint planning, refinements, and reviews with the Tech Lead and engineering team; gathering input from stakeholders and users to shape roadmap priorities; coordinating with sales, customer success, and operations to prepare for market introduction of new releases and features; serving as the primary point of contact for product-related questions from both the engineering team and external stakeholders; and reporting progress and blockers to the Head of Development.
