Ryanair Labs is recruiting a .NET Payments Developer to join the Payments Engineering Team. The role is based in Madrid with a hybrid working model (up to three days remote per week) and involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable payment solutions that process millions of transactions, while ensuring reliability, security, and an excellent customer experience across the payment journey. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable .NET services and integrations with multiple payment providers, gateways, and alternative payment methods, collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Finance, and commercial stakeholders. The team operates with engineers in Dublin, Lisbon, and Wroclaw, and you will contribute to the architecture and evolution of Ryanair's payment ecosystem, focusing on scalability, observability, and operational excellence. Requirements include strong experience in C# and .NET Core/.NET, experience with payment platforms and third-party gateways, cloud-native microservices in AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch), RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
