Ryanair is seeking a Materials Support Engineer to join its Materials & Purchasing team, overseeing procurement, repair, and warranty control of parts and aircraft systems for the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 fleets. This on-site role is based in Swords, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Additional Information:

Assist in the procurement of parts to support Line and Heavy Maintenance
Monitor repair facilities to ensure they support our operation
Support Base Maintenance ensuring repairs are performed efficiently
Liaise with Vendors on Technical and Commercial issues
Support Modification programs with spare parts
Assist in Repair Order pricing and quote approvals
Arrange freight movements within internal networks and from external vendors
Support parts and tooling requirements for all our aircraft Bases
Liaise with Engineering and Technical Services on Purchasing and Warranty matters
Support our Maintenance Control Operation as required
Assist in controlling our costs.
A suitable Engineering degree qualification
Willingness to develop a career with Ryanair
Be an effective communicator
The ability to work on own initiative
A mature sense of judgement
Be organised and have the ability to multitask
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver results to tight timelines
The ability to negotiate
Computer literate, with working knowledge Word, Excel
