Spire Yale Hospital is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to supervise the day-to-day housekeeping service and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control across clinical, non-clinical and public areas at the hospital in Wrexham, United Kingdom. You will lead by example, coordinating the housekeeping team to provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues. This full-time, permanent role is 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £25,956 per annum plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities include: - Supervising daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure areas are cleaned to the required standards. - Organising rotas and allocating duties to ensure appropriate housekeeping cover. - Preparing rooms for immediate occupation in line with hospital policies. - Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection prevention across all areas. - Supporting induction and ongoing training of team members. - Monitoring performance, providing guidance and addressing issues. - Managing holiday, sickness and absence records; ensuring timesheets are accurate and submitted on time. - Managing laundry levels, stores and waste in line with policies. - Supporting budgetary targets through efficient resource use. - Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH, hygiene and infection control requirements and patient confidentiality.
