Corporate Insights & Analytics (CIA) is the data and AI engine within KPN. With about 40 professionals — from developers and data scientists to consultants, data engineers, scrum masters, and product owners — we work across five Scrum teams driving internal digital innovation. You will join the AI for Corporate team within Group Business Services, a close-knit group of six AI specialists building AI solutions for HR & Finance. You will also collaborate with the Anaplan, Oracle Reporting, Managed Dashboarding and Data teams, and connect with KPN’s growing AI community of 50+ AI engineers and data scientists.

As a Medior AI Engineer in AI for Corporate, you will design and build Generative AI and NLP solutions that make HR & Finance processes smarter, faster, and AI-native. You will work on use cases such as AI agents for HR/Finance, automated invoice scanning, approval workflows, and predictive models. You will take ownership of features from idea to production with a focus on scalable, reliable, and maintainable AI services. You will act as a bridge between tech and non-tech teams, challenge assumptions, ask critical questions, and develop strong domain understanding. You will combine your AI expertise with a production mindset and software engineering quality.

Team & work model: We work hybrid with flexible remote options. We meet on Mondays in Rotterdam and on Thursdays in Amsterdam. We also regularly organize AI knowledge-sharing and community events.
