About the role
GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation to meet client needs. This is a fully remote role within the United States.
Responsibilities
Qualifications: Preferred:
- Coordinate with business and technology teams to elicit system requirements, including program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Provide technical and functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems.
- Possess business knowledge and IT understanding of customer needs across the organization.
- Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new or modified information processing systems.
- Interface between systems architects/programmers and end users to ensure IT designs meet user needs.
- Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures to ensure requests are carried out.
- Support testing activities to ensure traceability and test coverage.
- Apply general knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily programming.
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate)
- Extensive experience in business analysis
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Proficient with business analysis tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- United States citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States
- Clearance: Bachelor's with 5-8 years of experience; ability to obtain and maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance
- Experience working with the VA or similar federal agencies
