About the role

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation to meet client needs. This is a fully remote role within the United States.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: Preferred:

Coordinate with business and technology teams to elicit system requirements, including program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
Provide technical and functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems.
Possess business knowledge and IT understanding of customer needs across the organization.
Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new or modified information processing systems.
Interface between systems architects/programmers and end users to ensure IT designs meet user needs.
Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures to ensure requests are carried out.
Support testing activities to ensure traceability and test coverage.
Apply general knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily programming.
Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate)
Extensive experience in business analysis
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Proficient with business analysis tools such as JIRA and Confluence
United States citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States
Clearance: Bachelor's with 5-8 years of experience; ability to obtain and maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance
Experience working with the VA or similar federal agencies
