Careerflow Human Data Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python and/or TypeScript experience for a fully remote contract role in the United States. You will design, refine, and iterate on rubrics and evaluation criteria for preference data, review and label data to a high quality standard, and build and maintain pipelines and infrastructure to support data generation, collection, and evaluation workflows. You will synthesize findings into clear write-ups and recommendations, and collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate qualitative judgment into scalable processes. Requirements include 5+ years of professional experience in Python (building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure) or TypeScript/Golang/JavaScript, hands-on experience with preference data collection or rubric creation, strong written and verbal communication, and demonstrated high-taste judgment about quality. Perks include a fully remote environment and opportunities to work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading LLM companies. Engagement details: at least 4 hours per day and a minimum of 20 hours per week with a 4-hour overlap with PST. Employment type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave). Duration: 3 months. Location: North America. Start as soon as you pass the assessment.
