Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for providing strategic guidance toward compliant, safe, and efficient handling and processing of all waste streams contracted by the facility. Ensures the services provided by Stericycle meet service expectations, regulatory and safety compliance, and are delivered in a productive and profitable manner. This position involves local travel, primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Monitors operational performance and helps achieve performance and cost goals by using cost-tracking tools and reviewing invoices for accuracy. - Provides strategic consultative resources to hospital staff to manage all contracted waste streams in a safe and compliant manner; acts as the primary liaison for all contracted waste streams. - Applies expertise on regulations associated with the waste streams (e.g., EPA, DOT, DEA, and other state/local rules). - Conducts surveys for customers to identify compliance gaps and waste segregation opportunities using the Virtual Compliance Partner application. - Manages the implementation of new compliance-based services, coordinating schedules and expectations with internal and external customers; develops and delivers customized training for contract implementation and maintenance. - Schedules and completes customer-facing activity focused on service satisfaction, relationship-building, and identifying ways to improve efficiency and profitability. - Performs other duties as assigned.
