Overview: The HR Payroll Child Support Specialist supports the HHS ACF OCSE DFS program by applying hands-on HR/payroll experience to processing child support wage withholding and remittance through employer payroll systems. The ideal candidate has worked in an HR/payroll department or child support agency handling wage garnishments, is highly detail-oriented, and comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity and quality. This role collaborates with program, technical, and business stakeholders to translate employer payroll practices into program requirements, documentation, test scenarios, and operational guidance for federal child support initiatives. The position may require obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust and onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility, as part of the hiring process.
