You will help establish the user identity and endpoint security infrastructure for Airbnb's corporate environment, supporting corporate zero-trust deployments. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and secure systems that enable Airbnb employees and partners to access the data they need safely and in the right context. You will work with open source tools to build the next-generation client platform for all Airbnb corporate endpoints, extend the zero-trust backend to support security services, network paths, and user and device signaling, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize endpoints for Airbnb employees and partners. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in CS (or equivalent; Master's/PhD preferred), 4+ years of test-driven software development, extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java (Go strongly preferred), experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code deployments, Kubernetes experience, strong software architecture knowledge, excellent communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving and debugging skills, experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Location: This position is US-remote eligible, with possible occasional office work or offsite attendance as agreed with your manager.
