This role builds and maintains the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure, focused on designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance the user experience. You will collaborate with Product teams to scope projects, reduce scope to obtain faster customer feedback, and deliver cross-platform solutions via our Kotlin Multiplatform stack, with cloud functions and lightweight backend services deployed on GCP. An ideal candidate should have systems thinking, speed, focus, and strong collaboration with designers, marketers, and PMs. Preferred tech: Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience acceptable); prior experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
