About the role
desk.ly is seeking a Working Student in Sales Operations & Customer Support (Remote OK) to join our tech startup in Germany. This role will act as the bridge between Sales and Support to ensure our sales processes run smoothly and our customers receive outstanding support. The position is 15–20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
What we look for:
- Manage live chat and provide first-level support to potential and existing customers.
- Assess and categorize inquiries to determine whether issues can be resolved directly or require escalation to second- or third-level teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams to handle customer inquiries efficiently and ensure timely resolutions.
- Contracts and payments management: process contract and payment steps after a successful customer close; create and manage subscriptions in our system; ensure correct invoicing processes run smoothly.
- Onboarding and system setup for new customers: process room layout orders and input data into our system; perform initial system setup so customers can start using desk.ly effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success to continuously improve the onboarding process.
- You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Behavioral Economics/Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Some practical experience in marketing or sales (e.g., internships or working student roles) is a plus.
- Interest in SaaS, sales, and hybrid work environments; you want to understand how modern companies operate.
