Milhaus SRG is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and accounts payable across the organization. This senior finance leader will oversee corporate operations, development and construction projects, and our property management businesses, ensuring accurate GAAP-based financial reporting and robust internal controls.

The Corporate Controller partners with executive leadership, operations, development, project management, auditors, and tax advisors to support strategic decision-making, optimize financial performance, and protect the financial integrity of the organization.

Essential Functions - Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting: Lead general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and tax compliance; prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP; manage month-end and year-end close; develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, debt covenants, and regulatory obligations; oversee annual external audits; collaborate with leadership on analyses, forecasts, and strategic recommendations; drive process improvements and automation; support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. - Construction & Development Accounting: Oversee accounting for multifamily residential, mixed-use, and land development projects; ensure proper accounting for construction costs, land acquisition, development expenditures, capitalization, and projec
