As a Test Engineer in our R&D organization, you will engage in testing Ascom products throughout the development lifecycle. You will create and execute manual and automated tests, verify system integrations, and ensure our software and hardware products meet required specifications and compliance standards. The software products deploy on Azure cloud, private cloud, and as appliance; verification of the software and the platforms is part of the scope of the role.

The role is based in Cluj-Napoca or within commuting distance, with an office presence of more than two days a week. The role is a regular employment position, not a contractor. Travel to limited extent for intra-R&D work and customer interactions.

You need to be fluent in English and Romanian.

What you will do: - Perform integration and verification testing of Ascom products and systems. - Collaborate with developers and cross-functional R&D project members. - Create and execute manual and automated test cases. - Plan, execute, and document all test activities. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Identify improvement opportunities in the testing process. - Report defects and follow up on fixes. - Track and communicate test progress and results.
