About the role

Role overview: The Technical Program Manager will engage with supplier engineers and Apple cross-functional teams to develop and deliver core technologies that create new experiences for customers. You will act as a link between Apple Design and supplier manufacturing processes, focusing on the details that produce brilliant products through high-volume manufacturing. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all technical risks associated with a product are identified and closed or mitigated to enable a successful ramp.

About the role

Role overview: The Technical Program Manager will engage with supplier engineers and Apple cross-functional teams to develop and deliver core technologies that create new experiences for customers. You will act as a link between Apple Design and supplier manufacturing processes, focusing on the details that produce brilliant products through high-volume manufacturing. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all technical risks associated with a product are identified and closed or mitigated to enable a successful ramp.

Responsibilities

Lead program management across design, manufacturing, and supplier teams; coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet product objectives including quality, yield, and cost targets; manage schedules, risk, and escalation; communicate status to leadership. Minimum Qualifications:

At least 3 years of hands-on experience with design and/or manufacturing process development; familiarity with factory operations, 5S, operator training, safety, and security.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: metal forming, molding, precision pick-and-place, glue dispensing, laser welding, coil winding, heat pressing, soldering, additive manufacturing, machine learning, fixture fabrication.
Experience with compiling data and making recommendations for product designs and assembly drawings, including the use of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Six Sigma principles.
Experience using process control methodologies, PFMEA, and in-depth failure analysis methods. Experience simulating line throughput and bottleneck resol
