Develop and maintain high-performance web applications powering Gallup's public-facing digital experiences with emphasis on scalability, accessibility, and reliability.
Modernize the content platform through API-driven architecture, content modeling, and CMS evolution to enable cross-team publishing and optimization.
Design back-end services, APIs, and data models to support reliable content delivery and cross-platform integrations with attention to schema integrity and query performance.
Build systems that improve discoverability across search engines and emerging AI experiences.
Analyze consumer engagement data using Python to identify opportunities to improve relevance, return, and discoverability.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and UX teams to deliver self-service publishing capabilities and continuous optimization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least three years of professional experience with Python or JavaScript.
Experience building production full-stack web applications.
Backend development and API design for content delivery at scale.
Experience with cloud environments, performance, reliability, and security.
Familiarity with discoverability fundamentals: technical SEO, structured data, crawlability.
Experience with data modeling, databases, schema design, and query performa
