Shift Team Lead - On-site, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Virgin Hotels is seeking a Shift Team Lead to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the General Manager. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising staff, assisting with hiring and training, scheduling shifts, and covering stations as needed (taking guest orders, bussing tables, and running food and drinks). You will ensure service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Qualifi

Oversee opening and closing procedures; ensure the outlet is ready and well presented for guests.
Step behind the counter to assist with guest orders during peak periods.
Buss and turn tables; assist with delivering food and beverage orders to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations; report faults to Maintenance promptly.
Manage stock, inventory ordering, and supplier coordination; reconcile receipts and deposits.
Lead regular staff meetings, provide on-the-job training, and uphold fair discipline.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and state/federal liquor laws.
Communicate effectively with guests and teammates; uphold Virgin Hotels Core Values: fun, innovative, original, personable, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Accept responsibility for cash handling and operating the POS system; manage company funds and equipment properly.
Be physically present on the floor during service and adapt to varying noise and crowd levels.
