About the role

Responsibilities include owning scope, budget, and timeline for a portfolio of software and agent-engineering projects; establishing baselines for person-days, milestones, dependencies, and risk management; running a weekly delivery rhythm across the engineering team; protecting margin by handling scope changes via signed Change Requests; challenging estimates and building reusable estimation models; leading distributed squads across Böblingen and Lisbon; and automating reporting with AI tooling.

Requirements

at least 5 years of experience delivering software projects (web platforms, custom development, or integrations) in an agency, consultancy, or product organization; proven ownership of budget and scope; ability to read API contracts and data models and discuss with senior engineers; experience negotiating scope with client stakeholders and translating it into commercial agreements; business-level German and fluent English; comfortable worki
