Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML, with occasional C++ work. You will define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase, focusing on performance, memory usage, responsive UI, cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+), and maintainability, and you will drive accessibility efforts to support UI Automation and other Windows accessibility APIs.

Collaborating with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and other stakeholders, you will shape feature planning, UI/UX architecture, and the long-term roadmap for the Windows platform. You will own features from conception through release and maintenance, diagnose complex bugs and performance bottlenecks, and propose robust architectural solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.
