In this role you will rapidly develop, test, and deploy software across the robotics software stack to enable improved warehouse operations, collaborating closely with the Software team and CTO. The position is based in Berkeley, California, United States with a hybrid work arrangement (Partial WFH). Required qualifications include proficiency with Python, Linux, and Docker; proficiency in C++ or Rust; strong software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD); experience with finite state machines, multiprocessing/multithreading, and socket programming; knowledge of robotics areas such as controls, kinematics, motion planning, and 3D transformations. A BS with four years of commercial robotics software experience or MS/PhD with two years is required; bonuses include experience with advanced robotics topics, APIs, networking, and application software architecture (e.g., Model-View-Controller); familiarity with computer vision, grasp planning, collision checking, and machine learning.
