Senior Project Manager, Project Delivery

About the role

SCAYLE is seeking a Senior Project Manager for IT and e-commerce implementation projects to lead initiatives from planning through go-live and early operations. This is an on-site role based in Hamburg, Germany.

Responsibilities

lead complex IT delivery projects in an e-commerce environment from initiation to go-live and early operations; manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery; coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external implementation partners; adapt project approaches depending on whether customers are onboarded directly or via partner agencies; monitor project progress, provide proactive updates, and maintain clear project documentation; contribute to continuous improvements of project delivery processes and ways of working. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing complex IT or e-commerce implementation projects; proven track record delivering projects from initiation through go-live; practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall; experience managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks independently; strong stakeholder management with clients, product teams, and external partners; experience using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana; strong communication and presentation skills with fluent English; structured, proactive, and solution-oriented work style with a high level of ownership. Nice to have: experience with SaaS implementation or onboarding projects; experience in e-commerce or retail; project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum.
