About the role

Kimchi is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join a small, senior design team. You will own end-to-end product design for developer tooling across CLI, desktop app, and the inference/spend console, shaping product strategy and collaborating closely with engineers. This is a location-specific opportunity for candidates residing in Europe.

Responsibilities

Own problems end-to-end across the Kimchi surface—including CLI, desktop app, inference/spend console, and developer tooling—from research through shipped design and measurable outcomes.
Lead independent user research: plan, execute, synthesize, and translate findings into product decisions.
Prototype in code where faster than Figma, testing ideas directly in the product using AI-assisted workflows.
Bring a strong point of view to product strategy, backed by usage data, research evidence, and competitive awareness.
Participate in cross-squad design reviews to prevent overlap and raise quality.
Track design debt and push for prioritization when risk factors or user feedback demand it.
