Responsibilities include developing application software to run on Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux, creating hardware drivers for IMUs, star trackers, reaction wheels, and other spacecraft sensors and actuators, and maintaining comprehensive unit tests within a Continuous Integration framework. You will collaborate with hardware-in-the-loop test engineers to verify and validate software–hardware functionality and work with systems and embedded engineers to develop, document, and validate requirements. Participation in design reviews (PDR/CDR) and support for on-orbit and interplanetary flight operations are expected.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL BRING AS SENIOR FLIGHT SOFTWARE ENGINEER II: - Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical field - Active Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI - 8+ years of demonstrated experience in embedded software development - Proficiency in C and C++ - Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or Embedded Linux - U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements
