Role: Data Platform Ownership — You will build and maintain our new data platform (Dagster, dbt, AWS ECS, and Google Cloud BigQuery) and actively drive the transition toward it. You will develop a product that serves as a foundation for other data teams, with tailored tools, monitoring, data checks, connectors, cost control, testing, CI/CD, cataloging, etc.

Core-ELT Pipelines — You will maintain and optimize the largest pipelines in the company. You are responsible for moving terabytes of data nightly from MySQL (AWS) to GBQ, including daytime synchronizations, ensuring source-system performance is not impacted.

Core-Reports Delivery — You will own the most critical company reports used by the Executive Board and serve as a foundation for other departments' data teams.

Qualifications — Hands-on data engineering and software engineering experience, especially with high-volume, business-critical pipelines. Experience building and maintaining modern data platforms and acting as a multiplier for other engineering teams. Deep practical experience with Dagster, dbt, Google BigQuery, and AWS (ECS). Strong software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, testing, best practices, design patterns) applied to data engineering. Expert SQL and Python skills. Knowled
