GetYourGuide is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to own the operational backbone of our newsroom in Berlin. You will build and maintain the storytelling infrastructure—the publishing pipeline, the media CRM, distribution channels, and owned properties—ensuring every story moves through the system and lands with the right audience at the right time across external, internal, and owned channels.

Your responsibilities include: operationalizing the publishing pipeline with clear visibility on what’s shipped, what’s in development, what’s live, and what’s next; managing end-to-end publishing across external and internal channels; maintaining a global media database with beats, relationship status, and pitching notes; and driving distribution with agencies and freelancers, and internal stakeholders.

Lead media relations and targeted pitching by building tailored outlet lists (press, podcasts, newsletters), coordinating distribution via agencies and freelancers, and strengthening GetYourGuide’s global media network over time. Own and develop our owned channels by maintaining the press page as a trusted source of up-to-date information about the experience economy, and by developing media alerts including cadence, content selection, and performance tracking.

Explore and pilot new formats (podcasts, Substack, AMAs, creator partnerships, emerging channels); track engagement and provide recommendations on what to scale, iterate, or sunset. Manage social distribution by coordinating with B2B, Employer Brand, and other teams to keep the pipeline moving without bottleneck
