About the role

Vanilla Steel is a Berlin-based B2B steel trading company operating across Europe and developing the software used by our traders. You will take over an existing portfolio of French-speaking buyers and suppliers and grow it from there. Because you are not starting from scratch, your commission starts in month one. You will work directly with the Head of Sales and our steel traders, and you will own deals end to end.

Own and grow an existing portfolio of customers and suppliers across France and Benelux
Be the main point of contact for our French-speaking buyers and suppliers
Win new customers through targeted outreach by phone and email
Manage deals from first contact to close, coordinating with Operations
Run your pipeline in HubSpot
Use pricing and market data to sharpen negotiations
Fluent written and spoken French, plus solid English
Experience selling or negotiating with business customers; steel/industry experience not required
You build tools to automate repetitive tasks; dashboards, scripts, or no-code flows are welcome
You take ownership: follow up, keep your CRM clean, learn the product
Spanish, German or Polish is a plus
Experience in steel, metals, or commodities is advantageous but not required
Competitive fixed salary plus uncapped commission on every deal
An existing customer base
Direct access to the founders in a small team
Hybrid working, office in Prenzlauer Berg
