BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and ongoing optimization of our Azure cloud architecture. This is a fully remote role requiring cross-functional collaboration to develop, engineer, maintain, and continuously upgrade cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include provisioning and automating cloud resources with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps, designing scalable and secure solutions, and evaluating on-premises versus cloud deployments. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least five years of cloud infrastructure and software engineering experience, with deep Azure and/or GCP expertise, experience with CI/CD practices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Terraform/Ansible, Git-based tools, and Azure DevOps. Sponsorship is not available. Although this is a remote opportunity, final onsite interviews at the Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters will be required.
