The right candidate will perform various accounting and finance functions with limited supervision by identifying issues, researching, developing solutions, and implementing them. Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports, and assist in maintaining budgets and projected costs. Essential duties include: assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements; analyze and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards; conduct monthly close procedures and ensure deadlines are met; prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations; apply GAAP to a variety of business transactions; perform account analysis and reconciliation for significant balance sheet accounts; review and analyze financial statements; prepare journal entries as needed; other ad hoc analyses, reports, and projects as needed by division management; and conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit of the company.
